Terms of Use

Last updated: September 30, 2026

1. Who we are and when these Terms apply

BipFix ("we", "us") operates the bipfix.com website and the BipFix mobile app (together, the "Platform"). BipFix is currently being registered as a private limited company (osaühing) in Estonia. Until the registration is completed, the Platform is operated by its founder as a natural person. Once the company is registered, this section will state its legal name, registry code and registered address. You can contact us at support@bipfix.com.

These Terms apply to the English, Estonian, Italian, European Portuguese and Russian versions of the Platform and to everyone who uses it from the European Economic Area. The Brazilian Portuguese version of the Platform is intended for users in Brazil and is governed by separate terms based on Brazilian law. By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms. How we process personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. What BipFix does

BipFix is an online intermediation platform. It connects drivers and vehicle owners who need a repair ("Customers") with auto repair shops ("Repair Shops") and auto parts stores ("Stores"), together "Partners". Through the Platform, Customers describe their problem and receive quotes, and Partners can send quotes, communicate with Customers, track the work and buy or sell parts from each other.

BipFix does not carry out repairs or sell parts and is not a party to the contract between a Customer and a Partner. When you accept a quote, the contract for the repair or the part is concluded directly between you and the Partner, who is responsible for the work, the price, the deadlines and the guarantee.

All Partners register on BipFix as businesses and declare that they act as traders. This means that, as a consumer, the EU consumer protection rules apply to your contract with the Partner (see section 11).

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • The information you provide (name, contact details and, for Partners, business name, registry or VAT code and address) must be true, complete and kept up to date.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity on your account. Tell us immediately at support@bipfix.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • Whoever registers a Repair Shop or Store declares that they are the person responsible for that business (owner, director or someone authorised to represent it) and that they are aware that using the Platform, which is free today, may involve costs in the future under section 5.
  • Partners confirm that they hold the registrations, licences and permits required for their activity. We may ask for supporting documents and may refuse a registration that contains false, incomplete or unverifiable information.

4. Free for Customers

Using the Platform is free for Customers: requesting quotes, comparing them, tracking the repair and leaving reviews cost nothing. You pay only the Partner, for the repair or part you agree with them.

5. Fees for Partners

Using BipFix is currently free for Partners as well: there is no subscription, no commission and no per-job fee. In the future we may start charging Partners, for example a percentage of the jobs arranged through the Platform, a fixed fee per job, a subscription, or a combination of these; the conditions may be set for all Partners or specifically for each Partner.

Before any fee is charged, we will inform the affected Partners by email and on the Platform at least 30 calendar days in advance, describing the pricing model, the amount or percentage, any criteria that make the fee vary (for example, the volume of work) and the date from which it applies. A Partner who does not accept the new conditions may close its account before that date without any penalty.

6. How requests are distributed and how results are shown

The main parameters that determine what Partners and Customers see are the following:

  • Distribution of requests to Partners: a Customer's request is shown to the Repair Shops whose service area (the radius set by each Repair Shop, 30 km by default) covers the address of the request and that offer the type of service requested. Emergency requests (for example after an accident) are sent to Repair Shops that do collision or body work, giving priority to those that still have free capacity for that type of work according to the capacity they have declared.
  • Quotes shown to Customers: each quote is shown with its price, deadline and the Repair Shop's rating, so that the Customer can compare them. No Partner can pay to have its quote shown in a better position.
  • Public list of Repair Shops: the public list of partner Repair Shops is ordered by average rating, then by number of reviews, then by how long the Repair Shop has been on the Platform. No Partner can pay to appear higher in the list.

If we change these parameters, we will update this section and inform Partners in advance in accordance with section 17.

7. Obligations of Partners

As a Partner you agree to:

  • provide truthful information about your prices, deadlines, availability and services;
  • honour the quotes and deadlines you give to Customers through the Platform, unless the Customer agrees to a change;
  • not encourage Customers to conclude the deal or pay outside the Platform in order to avoid a fee that is in force and has been announced under section 5;
  • not manipulate, buy or exchange reviews or ratings;
  • treat Customers and other Partners with respect, without discrimination, harassment, pressure or unfair or misleading commercial practices;
  • comply with the laws that apply to your business, including consumer protection, tax, labour and environmental law, and use the personal data of Customers only to provide the service they requested.

8. Restriction, suspension and termination of Partner accounts

  • Minor or isolated issues (for example slow responses or outdated information) will normally lead to a warning and a reasonable period to fix the problem.
  • Restriction or suspension: if we restrict or suspend a Partner's account, we will send the Partner a statement of reasons, with the specific facts and the grounds under these Terms, before or at the latest when the measure takes effect.
  • Termination: if we decide to terminate a Partner's use of the Platform entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice with a statement of reasons. We may terminate or suspend immediately, still with a statement of reasons, only where the law requires it or in case of serious or repeated breaches, such as: fraud or attempts to evade a fee in force; false information about parts, services or prices; charging amounts different from the accepted quote without justification; harassment or discrimination of Customers; misuse of Customers' personal data; a pattern of serious Customer complaints; or illegal activity established by a competent authority.
  • The Partner may clarify the facts and ask us to reconsider by writing to support@bipfix.com. If the reason for the measure no longer applies, we will restore the account without undue delay.

9. Reviews

  • Only Customers who had a service completed by a Repair Shop through BipFix can review it: the Platform technically allows a review only for the Repair Shop whose quote the Customer accepted, and only after the request has been marked as completed. Each completed service can be reviewed once.
  • The author can edit their review for up to 2 months after publishing it. Reviews are shown with the name displayed in the author's account and the date.
  • We do not pay for reviews, and we do not hide or reorder reviews depending on whether they are positive or negative. We remove a review only if it is illegal, demonstrably false, offensive or unrelated to the service, and in that case we inform the author of the reason.
  • The public rating of a Repair Shop is the average of all its published reviews.

10. Your content and reporting illegal content

You are responsible for the content you publish on the Platform (descriptions, photos, messages, reviews, profile information). It must not be illegal, misleading or infringe the rights of others. You keep the rights to your content, and you give BipFix a free licence to store and display it on the Platform to the extent needed to provide the service.

Anyone can report content they consider illegal by writing to support@bipfix.com with: an explanation of why the content is illegal, the exact location of the content (for example the page address), the reporter's name and email address (except for certain reports about child sexual abuse material), and a statement that the report is made in good faith and is accurate and complete. We will confirm receipt, handle the report in a timely, diligent and objective manner and inform the reporter of our decision.

If we remove content, restrict its visibility or restrict an account, we will send the user concerned a statement of reasons and explain how to contest the decision. Our single point of contact for users and for the authorities of the EU Member States is support@bipfix.com; you can write to us in English or Estonian.

11. Consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence. In particular, your statutory rights regarding the repair or the part (for example the right to have a defective repair corrected or to claim remedies for a defective part) exist against the Partner who carried out the work or sold the part.

If you have a problem with a Partner, you can write to us at support@bipfix.com and we will try to help find a solution, free of charge. This does not affect your right to contact your national consumer protection authority or to go to court. In Estonia, consumers can refer disputes free of charge to the Consumer Disputes Committee of the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (Tarbijakaitse ja Tehnilise Järelevalve Amet, www.ttja.ee).

12. Complaints from Partners

Partners can send complaints about the Platform, about technical problems or about any measure we have taken against their account to support@bipfix.com. Complaints are free of charge; we will consider them with due care and reply within a reasonable time. BipFix is currently a small enterprise within the meaning of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC, so the obligation to name external mediators under Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 does not yet apply to us.

13. Intellectual property

The BipFix name and logo, the design of the Platform and its source code belong to BipFix or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or use them without our permission, except as allowed by law.

14. Liability

We take care in verifying Partner registrations and in running the Platform, but the Partner, not BipFix, is responsible for the quality and result of the repair and for the part sold.

We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available without interruption; there may be pauses for maintenance, failures of third-party services or events beyond our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or in any other case where liability cannot be limited by law.

15. Closing your account

You can stop using the Platform and ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@bipfix.com. Closing your account does not affect contracts already concluded with a Partner. What happens to your data after closing is explained in the Privacy Policy.

16. Other rules of use

You may not use the Platform for illegal purposes, try to access other users' data or accounts, interfere with the operation of the Platform, or collect data from it in an automated way without our permission.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms, for example when the company registration is completed, when we introduce new features or when the law changes. We will inform registered users of significant changes by email or on the Platform before they take effect: at least 30 days in advance for changes that affect Partners (or longer if needed to adapt), and within a reasonable period for Customers. If you do not agree with the changes, you can close your account before they take effect.

18. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

For disputes between BipFix and Partners, Harju County Court (Harju Maakohus) in Tallinn has jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
